‘Eye-opening, mind changing and challenging adventure it was. One gets to explore and appreciate nature and life as it is. I found loads of encouragement from most members. I also realized that coming to this type of place actually prepares me for the life that I am going to have. I have found the confidence in me. Learning to co-exist with other DIFFERENT individuals with different attitudes to life and challenges that were given to us. It was the best!!!’ Duneo Rena

‘The Outward Bound camp is one thing a person needs to do because it takes you to a journey of your life of discovery. I’m glad that I faced my fears because now I can face life with an experience. I got an experience that no one will ever take away; I will apply it on my life so that I could fulfill my dreams and goals for me. I did something I never thought I would trust a person, let someone control my life but I’m glad that I was able to trust and work as a team’ Sandiso Noinisa

‘All in all what I can say about the Outward Bound it was a journey of discovery. The reality is that I really enjoyed to be part of this and by doing it I explored new things, that some of were good and some were not, most especially the hikes. They were tough, but I told myself nothing is impossible in this life, more especially if there are people around you and give you support. It gave me power to go for anything that I want and encouraged me to use my fears to overcome my problems’ Njamela Anjile

‘I have really learned a lot at Outward Bound. I leqrned to communicate much more with children and I hardly knew them correctly. I knew when I leave here I’ll be a much better person, that I could go home and tell everyone what I experienced. I always said that I can’t do it, but Pieter and Themba told me you can just keep on trying and you’ll get there and that’s how I finished this course, by saying I can and I will do it’ Justine Tombisa

‘I would definitely recommend this course to others. If you compare what was done during the course with life out there you can only be thankful and grateful for what you have. Go out there, experience what Outward Bound can teach you about life! After the course you will have more appreciation for yourself, others and life; you might never be the same person as before’ Charleen Williams
